FAQs answered by Yasmin Al-Traini, Owner and Clinical Director of TCG. Yasmin supervises all counseling staff and works closely with providers to ensure high-quality mental health care and improved patient outcomes.

Our Services
What do you offer?
We provide counseling and personalized mental health support plans to help you manage symptoms and improve well-being.
Do the same providers handle counseling and treatment support?
No. Counselors focus on therapy, goal-setting, and interventions, while prescribers oversee health support plans if needed. Both work together to ensure your care is safe and effective.
Do I have to use both services?
Not at all. You can choose counseling, treatment support, or a combination: whatever fits your needs.

Counseling & Appointments
How often do I meet with my counselor?
Weekly at first, then less often as progress is made, then every other week, monthly, or just occasional check-ins.
Is attendance required?
Yes. Following your schedule ensures safety, progress, and achievement of your treatment goals.
How soon can I start?
Once intake is complete, you could begin in as little as two days.
Do you offer late or weekend appointments?
Yes! Evening sessions are available. Rarely, but it does happen, weekend slots may be offered during busy periods.

Assessments & Support
Do you treat all mental health conditions?
We treat a wide range from mild anxiety or depression to ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and sleep disorders. More intensive cases may require temporary referral.
Do you assess ADHD?
Yes. We use multiple validated tools to accurately screen and guide treatment.
How does treatment planning work?
You and your provider define your goals and develop a plan. This may include counseling strategies, support plans, and coordination with other professionals.
What if my provider isn’t a good fit?
It’s okay to look for someone else. Comfort and trust are key to successful care. You can review provider bios or ask staff for guidance.

Respect & Privacy
Will you respect my lifestyle or beliefs?
Absolutely. We meet every patient where they are, respecting autonomy, beliefs, and life choices. Providers can learn about your experiences or help you find someone better suited if needed.
Is my information private?
Yes. HIPAA protects everything you share. Records are only shared with your consent, except in rare safety situations or for insurance billing. Read more here.
Can you coordinate with my current providers?
Yes. Collaboration with your existing care team is encouraged to ensure continuity and safety.

Safety & Substance Use
Can I receive treatment if I use recreational substances?
Safety is our priority. Certain substances may prevent starting or continuing treatment. Once substances are cleared, we can reassess your plan. Full disclosure of all substances is required for safe monitoring.

Access & Technology
How do I sign up?
Call or complete our online form. An intake provider will gather details, review your history, and help schedule sessions. Patient inquiry forms can be found here.
Can I do online sessions?

Do I have to come in person?
Most counseling and some treatment support can be online. Certain health support plans require one annual in-office visit.
