Hello! I’m David!
I am a graduate of Wayne State University with a Masters of Social Work and a Masters in Public Health. I have also acquired my Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Youth and Society from Michigan State University. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings such as schools, group therapy, and one-on-one therapy. In my work with clients, I use a variety of techniques such as Motivation Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, and more. Currently, my research focus is social relationships and loneliness in an increasingly digital era. I know everyone has their own unique story and obstacles in their life, so it’s my goal to use multiple perspectives of Social work, Public Health, and Psychology and more to assist clients through navigating their stressors on their way to becoming their best selves! Every unique opportunity to assist others strengthens my experience and my passion for mental health! I believe everyone, regardless of their life circumstances, has the opportunity to grow and thrive if they can just be heard. My therapies are free of judgment, and I strive to build safe, healthy rapport with clients in order to assist them with the obstacles life presents before us all.
In my free time, I enjoy all things Pokémon, cooking, baking, and attempting to train my pair of kittens: Tigger and Kanga Skahn the Conqueror.
Life is complicated, so let’s break it down and uncomplicate it. I am here to help, listen, and support, and I look forward to working with you!
